here their brother was there & he wanted her to tell his fortune. which she did & she told him lots of things that he was anxious to hear about & was waiting to know its funny how she can do this. well then when she got through Gertrude wanted her to tell her fortune but she said it was getting late & she must be getting along home. the brother then brought her home in the car & told her he was greatly pleased with what she told him. it had eased his mind to a great extent.

The birthday present arrived Wednesday & I was much pleased they will be very warm and nice through the cold weather.

I guess Doris may come out the last of this week if she does she may tell me all about her dance. I believe in gaining the confidence of children they will tell all about their good times if they find out we are interested. you remember how you used to tell me when you were young & went to parties with the fellows.
