with what I have now there are $85 in bills outside of my small cash. that should go me a good while

Last night being Hallowene it was very quiet here with us. I sat up till nearly nine O'clock for company for her. she had her radio to listen to then while I went to sleep. we locked our screen door so they couldn't ring the door bell. they didn't come to bother us any at all. so before she went off to bed she unlocked the screen door & put out the money for her post & it was there this morning everything turned out all right. I have just taken in my last screen out of my front chamber window & the wasps come in two a day. I kill them for they poisen me dreadfully & I do like to sit up stairs as its all the change I get during the day I did go over to see where he set out the trees & found every thing satisfactory. I am sending along Lenas card for you to read it seems her cold is lasting her a long time. Mrs Barrys only lasted two days. She took it in time so got rid of it. She is going over to the hospital this afternoon to see Cora Brock principally for she pities her they dont treat her well which is too bad its a pity she dont pass on. as she dont enjoy living there. its better to die young before one loses ones faculties and friends. Hope you are all well. Love Ma.

Helen Fared has just called here. I was alone out on the porch. just a minute gone away glad to see her.
