the winter snows wont prevent my getting to the wood pile. 1/2 of that wood pile we have got down there all ready. two baskets a day will soon get the whole of it down now. its a pity one of those store houses "Big Bill" built hadn't landed over on this lot.

The Ballantines are coming over here to call on us before they move so Addie told us the other day on the phone & they want me to stay up after its my "bedtime", so to see them. Thear the old Aunt has sold the house and is going to live with a friend. their mother I dont think will live much longer, nor the Aunt either, they both are too old to change their residence.

Alice Tilden had a shock which took her at last. she never wanted to leave Stoughton, when he went to work with the Uncle (George Belcher). so he was gone three month at a time. & probably had a residence out there. Gertrude Belcher is a very different looking person than she was they say, she drives right up to date. her old house keeper is used up. she is up here to the hospital with the (Bride's sisters) & is taken care of by Gertrude, who visits her constantly.

We are going to have soup for dinner a big bone is waiting for the little dog, across the way. The landing of the buildin the son put down there on the Bruce lot, ought to cost them at least 3 dollars extra if nothing more. & should think so guess we are entitled by law the extra rent Ma
