Stoughton July 28th..1948

Dear Doris. It is hot weather yet so we dont make up our fire in the kitchen stove but depend on our electric stoves to get our simple meals today. I got your mail today it was very interesting to read about your trip, you must have enjoyed it. She is going down to the hairdressers this afternoon, my Fairy lilly attracts attention, it never was so thrifty, the nasturtiums are in bloom, also the flock all around the house are in blossom, our rains have brought everything forward in great shape even the grass on the lawns.
love Ma.
