Stoughton May 22nd 1948

Dear Doris  We are still having stormy disagreeable weather, we are all sick of such. shall be glad when the month is over. Snow up in the state of Maine I read. too cold to set out plants. my hot stove seems good to warm up my bed at night. we had the grocery man come today he hasnt been here before for a fortnight so guess he thought we had given him the go by. but things are so high we got our tripe & fish in Brockton bread down at the little store.
