I have just eaten my Sunday dinner its a job for me to eat as I dont have a natural appetite. what I use to like dont taste good to me. cabbage is one vegetable also beets I have no use for its hard for me to get them down.

I suppose Maude is hungry all the time thats the other extreme she always did have a good appetite they say that now she doesn't look quite as fat. the man who lives with Drake in the corner house, takes care of the Brides Sisters lawn. he is Drakes brother in law and the two live there since his wife died.

A week ago we had Gladys stay to dinner she is beginning to grow grey. I haven't seen Charleys folks for an age. its so pleasant to day I though they might drive over. I am sorry Doris will be so far away this summer. I guess there must be some man, she is interested in up there where she is going as a waitress. she spoke of one who has a summer residence there, she will be all right after she marries man hungry is her disease. hope she gets the right one. we cant be too careful, love is the only thing to go by.

The little apple tree ought to bear fruit out the back way, it never was so full of blossoms as it is this year. the fruit comes early so its an early apple & that is what we like.
