on Saturday she could come then for she don't have to work then I guess their brother Tom is now friendly with them. we hear of his being over there occasionally. he said he didn't know why he wrote them such a letter.

Blanche Hammond is working for the Winwroths taking care of their mother. They give her very good pay & take her around in their car where ever she wants to go, at any time, so she doesn't have to be confined. I should think it was a swell job.

If it were pleasant today Doris might come here for a brief visit, guess she don't want to leave her boy friends very long. I am glad you can go on trips hope by now you have seen the moon through the telescope it certainly must be a great sight.

The sun is shining out bright, the clouds have blown away. it bids fair to be a pleasant day. I am glad it has cleared. early this morning it was very sunny. hope we don't get any more snow.

I have just been to dinner had clam chowder canned, desert of coffee jelly. she had a piece of steak which I don't care for. the less meat pleases me the better these days. I could have had hash. it is clouding up again. we have just set out our rubbish expect they will come to collect tomorrow if pleasant. this is all I can write this time.
love Ma.
