Dear Doris. This is a very sunny day but temerature above freezing. early in the morning there was a snow flurry but it came in the night & soon disappeared. it does seem good to see the bare ground. winte is gradually wearing away. That bullock girl is entirely helpless. she lies in bed now all the time, her mother says. I am sitting up in the front chamber here been sewing have just hemed the tablecloth you sent in the xmas box it is so pretty. I am going to put it on that rope legged table in the front room. that table is one of the pieces of my mothers furniture that was allowed me. Horace had everything. Love Ma
