Dear Doris This is a rainy windy Sunday. I have just hung out a small line of clothes & guess they may whiten if they dont dry. it may clear this afternoon. she has just gone with the Reynoldses to church the minister prevailed on her to come to sing in the choir which is much against her will, if you will believe it the sun is shining so now guess the day will be pleasant & turn cooler. its been 70° so far my clothes may dry after all. this storm which lasted all night will do those trees good. I never sit out. it was very windy all day yesterday. it blew the leaves out of my yard down street. I was glad to see them go.

Thursday night we were without much light. just in the front part of the house. the kitchen all of the back part of the house, bathroom, radio, & electric clock, went out of commision, so we had to call up Brockton they sent a man right over & he put in a new fuse. he said it was worn out. had been in ever since the house was built. I dont know what will happen next.
