[[crossed-out]] but [[\crossed-out]] I had fallen in love in the mean time, and[[crossed-out]] then [[\crossed-out]] so when we were deactivated December '44 [[crossed-out]] and [[\crossed-out]]I was married [[strikethrough]] in [[/strikethrough]] to [[?]] July 45. [[strikethrough]], and [[/strikethrough]] Then, you know, your whole life [[strikethrough]] starts [[/strikethrough]] to change.

DEACTIVATED FROM WHAT?

You did not know they terminated the program?
YES, I KNOW THEY TERMINATED TO WASPS BUT YOU NEED TO TELL ME THE STORY. TELL ME CHRONOLOGICALLY, SO I CAN DEVELOP THIS [[strikethrough]] OUT [[/strikethrough]] IN LOGICAL ORDER.

I Took a physical at Fort Leavenworth

WAS THIS WHILE YOU WERE AT STEPHENS OR AFTER?

While at Stephens in July 43, passed it and was told to report to Sweetwater, September 6, 1943, which I did, in the class of 44W2 then I took all my training all the way straight through to March 44

This guy did not like me, [[strikethrough]] any way [[/strikethrough]] so he said: "well, she will probably never kill herself but she is lousy pilot." [[strikethrough]] so [[\strikethrough]] Then my father thought [[strikethrough]] now [[/strikethrough]] that was just enough reason for me to come home, but knowing that still did not change my attitude. The whole program was very tough work and we worked very hard, But, I made it!

WHAT SORT OF COURSES DID THEY HAVE YOU [[strikethrough]] DO [[/strikethrough]] STUDY?

In the ground school, we had to learn aerodynamics, [[strikethrough]] had to learn [[/strikethrough]] we did Morse code, to receive and send it at a certain rate (I don't remember what), and flying, [[strikethrough]] we [[\strikethrough]] I did not have to know much about mechanics of our plane but we had to do everything that was required of the men pilots. The only difference was that we had primary, basic and
