HAVE NOT HAD TOO MUCH OPPORTUNITY TO DO MUCH INSTRUCTING IN HELICOPTERS. HAVE NOT HAD ACCESS TO A COPTER LATELY AND HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY TEACHING PEOPLE HOW TO FLY AIRPLANES.

TOTAL FLYING TIME TO DATE: 43,395.0 hrs.

I AM CHIEF FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AT MORRISON FLYING SERVICE, INC MORRISTOWN, TENNESSEE.
I AM AIRPORT MANAGER FOR THE CITY OF MORRISTOWN_MOORE-MURREL AIRPORT. I AM PILOT EXAMINER FOR FAA., ALSO HAVE JUST BEEN APPOINTED AS WRITTEN TEST EXAMINER.
I AM A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS.
I AM A MEMBER OF THE TENNESSEE AERONAUTICS COMMISSION (appointed by Gov. Lamar Alexander, Gov. ofTennessee). 
BESIDES THE CARNEGIE BRONZE MEDAL THAT I RECEIVED IN 1959 I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL OTHER AWARDS.
1979 NATIONAL FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR.
1981 WOMAN OF THE YEAR, SILVER WINGS FRATERNITY.
1981 OUTSTANDING ALUMINUS TENNESSEE WELEYAN COLLEGE
1981 SERVICE TO MANKIND AWARD, MORRISTOWN SERTOMA CLUB.

My Bronze Medal is encased in a block of lucite and if the Smithsonian would like it for display, that could be arranged provided I received a receipt and written guarantee that it would be returned to me or my heirs should they no longer desire to use it.

Not knowing just what you might want I am sending aome pages from my scrap book regarding the incident and award. Also a little bit about my training at Bell Helicopter plant. I would not want to lose these. If they wish to use them that is find, but otherwise I do want them returned.
