Dear Ms. Packard:

On behalf of Claudia Oakes, I would like to thank you for the photographs of Nancy Love. I will be sure to add them to the Museum's biographical files where they will be accessible to members of the staff and the public who are interested in these women.

Claudia informs me that you are a retired pilot and that you were involved with the publicity for the WAFS and WASPs. As I am researching the fourth volume of the Smithsonian's "U.S women in Aviation" series which includes World War II, I would be very interested in meeting you. Would you be available for lunch sometime in the near future. Please telephone me at the Museum (347-2515) in order to set up a mutually agreeable time.

Once again, thank you for the photographs. I look forward to hearing from you.
                               Sincerely yours,
