A communication has this day been received from Mr Garland Good per B.F. Stallworth stating that he has Eighty eight (88) people in his Colony and asking for Seventy five (75) Rations additional per day.

The letter has been returned with the following endorsement.
"Issue" to the people at the Colony all that is necessary for their support, and what remains issue to the Whites.  No further supply can be sent to Monroe County.

The communication of Dr. Webster M Raines asking compensation for damage done to hotel at Eufaula Ala. referred to these Head Quarters for Report has been received.

There is no Agent of the Bureau in that Section of the State and the facts cannot be ascertained without sending an Officer to the place.

Is it the desire of the Bvt Major General Commanding the Department that this should be done.
