I have the honor to request the appointment of John M. Webster as clerk in the Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Alabama to date September 30th 1868 at a salary of one hundred ($100.00/100) dollars per month;  also of Frank Connor to date October 1st 1868 at a salary of one hund. ($100.00/100) dollars per month.
