Before this application can be forwarded it must positively be ascertained through the agent in Tennessee whether her friends will take care of her.  The disposition seems to be not to transport except in the most urgent cases, and whether the person is now a public charge.

She is indigent and has six children here all by her husband viz: Thornton aged 21 years, Sully 18 years, Robert 13 years, Betty 11 years, Eveline 8 years, and Alice 6 years. She also has 300 lbs. baggage.
