of Huntsville, under the supervision of an excellent Officer Chaplain T.M. Goodfellow. There is a Freedmen's farm near Decatur Junction that I am now closing up, and the one near Huntsville is also in process of liquidation. I have been pushing the colored people to the Country and into Contracts for the next year.

There will be much destitution in Nor'n Alabama during the approaching winter, and ample provision should be made at once for personal relief.
