Case for the Complainant

8 Giers J.J. Pltff. Testifies, left home 2 years ago - driven off by rebels told old Mr. Gooch to care for my property in my absence - left plenty for the family - he only to care for my family. 
While in Federal lines hearing that family had no corn got permission of Genl. [[Granger?]] to send some things through lines to my family -  sent some 200$ worth altogether.  Came back to my home about 2 mos ago Gooch sr. had left, found nothing there when I got back and could get nothing, wanted to get a share of the crop for the colored people.  Never made any agreement with this Pli'ff
