Dear Doris

Its pleasant weather we are having & cool but no snow. it seems good to have the bare ground Laura took us Monday to ride clear to the Blue Hills and all around town & treated us to strawberry ice cream. & yesterday she brought up Mrs. Williams Baretas mother in law. she is the one who buried her husband. he was blind. after he fell down stairs it made him cragy [[crazy]]. so they had to take him to Forborough & then he didnt live very long. now She lives up two flights of stairs in Bertha Thomsons tenement house & has to pay an enormous rent so Laura was looking around town yesterday to see if she could find some cheaper quarters.
