Dear Doris
This is a very pleasant day good & sunny and not very cold. we are all nicely in health. Mrs Barry has just got up & is making the fire to get her breakfast. I got up around eight & got my oatmeal on the little electrick stove I dont ever sleep after 6 Oclock. The telophone called yesterday while she was up stairs & being Saturday, she thought it might have been Alice Woods, as she often calls her up a day she doesn't have to teach. she called her up & she came to answer the call & said "I cannot talk" She was taken with Laryngitis & sent for the doctor & has been sick in bed. I hope she isn't there all alone I guess she must miss Myrtie. that Mrs Churchill they took away to Foxborough she wasnt reliable.
