Mrs Barry went to Evening service last night about 10 O'clock & it lasted till 1/2 past two O'clock she calls it midnight service, she said the church was crowded with people & she had a wonderful time. she also sang in the choir. I hope Doris has got over her cold we are still having colder weather 20° early & a good strong wind. why does it blow so these days?

I was glad to hear Helens husband was over his heart trouble, he may grow better since he is careful about what he eats.

Irma Wayland is coming in her car to take me down to see the lighted Street in the village to see to night after dark. Mrs Barry suggested it to her unbeknown to me, which pleased them both very much. Irma said she never thought of it & is glad to take me down. I have never seen the village at Xmas time lighted up & it must be a pretty sight. I should think I feel its very good of both of them to take me down.

I will drop this letter writing now by thanking you for my box of so many lovely presents
