Sir,
I have the honor to transmit herewith Special Requisitions for two horses for mounting orderlies, One four horse team and wagon and one hundred cords of wood for use of this Sub-Dist. Bureau of R.F & A.L., in compliance with instructions by telegraph received today. We have long stood in need of these articles, having frequently to send a distance of from 5 to 20 miles for parties complained of and it being inconvenient for the Quarter master to furnish horses. It being almost impossible to get a wagon from the Quarter-master, and he absolutely refusing to furnish the wood required.

Respectfully
Your obdt servt
