Bvt. Major O. D. Kinsman;
Asst. Adjt. General
Montgomery Ala.

Major,
I have the honor to forward this day a number of the Tuscaloosa Observer - a weekly paper published in this city. I wish to call your attention to a par. relative to Aron Crosby a freedman in it - marked by parenthesis
This man was sentenced to be hung, I understand, last spring, and now this court has tried and sentenced hum to be hung again -
The Word "Strangers refers to Gen'l Swayne who ordered the sentence not to be executed -
I am, Major,
Very Respectfully
Your Obdt. Servt.
