In compliance with a request made by Mr. Buckley of the Freedman's Bureau, I have the honor to report that I have issued rations during this month to 
Fifty Six, 56, Adults Freedman
One Hundred and Ten, 110, Children Freedman
Seventy Four, 74, Adults Destitute Whites
Two Hundred and Eighty, 280, Children Destitute Whites
in the Counties of Shelby, Bibb and Jefferson which I command [STAMP] THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF THE UNITED STATES [STAMP] 

I was placed her in command Sept. 10th 1865 Since which time I have done everything in my power for the interests of the Freedman I could have done no more. had I been a regular Agent of the Bureau- which I think Mr Buckley will Substantiate
