Dear Colonel,
The decision of the Quartermaster General's Dept is that old buildings turned over to this Bureau and properly receipted for, is to be dropped from the Quartermasters Department return and must be accounted for according to the regulations of this Bureau.
With reference to selling of refuse lumber it may be done under the direction of the bonded Officer, who is responsible for said lumber - after specific approval from the War Department.
