Stoughton July 15th 1951

Dear Doris 70° on the Porch early, the house remains cool on account of the outside windows. We open the doors in the morning & shut them after the sun gets high. that makes good air through the day. Bill came just as I was getting ready to retire. I read the letter he brought that you sent to him. Mrs. Barry said it was the best letter she ever read. he will do a good job when he begins the work. he says after he finishes this one he has started on & will soon

The Post is the paper she takes on Sundays to read, with it came a picture it has just arrived & I wish you could see the picture, it is two cats looking at each other, it is so natural looking. I dont see how they get them to look so natural.
Well I am glad you can go to the shore & go in swimming. hope Doris gets a good vacation after so much studying. this is all I can write this time.
