I believe that no man in Lowndes County would refuse to endorse this letter.  It will be regarded and appreciated as a personal favor to myself if you will give this matter your favorable attention. I am very much interested in Judge Cooks welfare and would like to see him amply remunerated for the discharge of the duties an unpleasant troublesome office.
