The Board then examined the Bill of Lading which showed 2273 sacks of Corn shipped to 1st Lieut. Geo. Shorkley. Sub asst Com. and A.C.S. B.RF. & A.L. and for this the Board concludes that the deficiency occurred during the transit from Mobile Ala. to Selma Ala

After mature consideration of the evidence and facts adduced it is the opinion of the Board that the Mobile Trade Co. is responsible for, 83, sacks of Corn, the amount short of the Invoice and further that 1st Lieut. Geo. Shorkley A.C.S. B.RF. & AL is in no manner responsible for the deficiency.

There being no further business before it the Board adjourned "Sine Die"
