On the Bradley place the negroes are working for wages and are all paid up to Three or Four hundred dollars- seven bales having been sold from the place.
The executions stayed in these cases were upon security debts for slaves, and I would recommend that no action be taken in regard to them, pending the action of the Constitutional Convention or the Ordinance anulling contracts and other indebtedness for slaves.
