which they might make of. I would furnish the supplies for sustaining the laborers and stock.-

I now find that A. Griffith sold to the said Griggs $1800.00 worth of stock last year, and that about the 1st March last the Griggs, executed a mortgage to him upon the crop they might make this year for payment. I knew nothing of this until recently - about 15th ult.- I now find that all the crop is gathered and the said Griffith and L Upshaw the party who rented the land have seized all the crop and it is advertised to be sold on next Saturday for their benefit at least the portion of it claimed by Griffith.
