to his orders, and (his orders was to Distill anyhow, even against the regulations of the laws of the U.S. Internal Rev. Previously to my dismissing, he destroyed by fire all the letters, accounts & vouchers all being evidences against him.  he, then proposed an arbitration to settle our difficulties, I accepted that method of settlement to avoid the Costs of a law suit, at last the Decision came out and was in my favor.  S. C. McIntyre persisted in not paying me.  Ten days after, I obtained an execution and made by Sheriff a levied upon some of his property to be sold ten days after.  The day of the Sale it rained, so the Sale was postponed two weeks further.  That day came and it raining again was postponed again, until to day (May 20th)  When the Sheriff declines to sale the property levied and advertised by him; Mrs McIntyre, attorney for her husband, claiming nearly all that property as exempted, although S.C. McIntyre owns here a beautiful place, orchard and nearly 550 acres of good land. 

S.C. McIntyre, his wife his attorney, P. D. Page their lawyer, Sheriff & others have all the times suggested some cause or other, by postponing, delaying, bringing in some false pretentions of the law and by subterfugies, obstination, have tried to weary me out, fatigue me, distrust me of further prosecutions and avoid the payement of the Salary of 14 months of my times of Labor!!
