Tuskegee Aug 28th 1867 Gen Wager Swayne Sir I learn you are giving transportation to courled people who have been Sold here by Speculators and who are desirous to return to their native home in Virginia I have with me a Mulatta girl who has been faithful & true and is desirous to return to her native home will give her transportation pay her expenses &c answer soon With Every Respect I remain N.N.
