States that Henry H Russell who is now contesting the election of 44th Dis was defeated in consequence of his rebel proclivities - and now seeks revenge by enducing the owner of the plantation he Collins is working, to believe that he will be defrauded of his rent. In consequence an attachment has been issued and the sheriff Ligori instead of dividing the crop and leaving half to the freedmen has made a clean sweep - The rent is $1500 - the cotton will amount to 50 or 60 bales. Makes these complaints against Russell.
