Dr Sir,
Permit me again to trouble you in regard to the horse swap I brought to your attention some time since; a full statement of which has been furnished you by the Probate Judge of this Co. The notes given by George Hughes on the settlement  of his own has not been paid. And Hughes is hopelessly insolvent and a suit brought against him would result in no good. I hold Geo Hughes notes for $35.00 - one of which notes for $15.00 was due on the 26th March last, the other is for $20.00 and was to be paid on the 10th April past. I withdrew the suit I had instituted against him in the justice court on the ground that
