Maj. Genl W. Swayne

Sir

We have this day closed the labors of the Coroners Jury, rendering our Verdict — The whole testimony will be placed before you as soon as it can be copied — I sincerely hope it will meet your approval — No evidence proposed has been allowed to pass uninvestigated. I would like to call your attention to certain portions but shall forbear, leaving it upon its merits, without any special pleadings.

Yrs truly
M. S. Foote
