I have the honor to request transportation for the following freedwoman and her child to Selma, Ala.

Jane Taylor and Adam (her child) aged eight years.

I am personally acquainted with the facts in Jane's case, She is destitute and an invalid. The persons she is living upon are about to leave. If she can get to Selma to Mrs Adam Taylor she will have a home and a situation for her boy. Mrs Adam Taylor has written for Jane.

My respectfully
