I beg to report in the Case Ludy Rogers that she had contracted with Mrs. Rogers for the services of herself and children for the year 1866. That the contract was a fair one and approved by myself Thus in violation of her contract she left here and went to Autauga. I submitted the case to Genl Swayne and at his instance had the children apprenticed to Mrs Rogers she being a kind lady and in every respect a proper person

In reference to the case of Alfred Rogers, I do not know that the boy has been apprenticed. I proposed giving Alfred an order but he declined going for him. he is now
