I have the honor respectfully to report further respecting the murder at Oakey Streak. On Thursday 16th, at the instance of Judge Henry of the Circuit Court, Judge Bolling of the County Court, accompanied by the sheriff, visited the scene of the murder, and after considerable attempts of misleading and concealment on the part of individuals, succeeded in eliciting the fact beyond question, that the act was done by Thomas Cook, a young man, son of Dr. Cook, the leading man, in wealth and position, of the neighborhood.
