Properly approved requisitions having been forwarded to these Head Quarters for the following described Means of Transportation required for the use of this Bureau at the Freedmens' Hospital, Garland, Alabama, viz: one (1) ambulance Harness, two (2) Head Halters, two (2) Horse Brushes and two (2) curry combs, and it being impracticable to procure the same of the Quartermaster's Department, Bvt. Maj. Geo. F. Browning, AAQM on duty in this Bureau at Montgomery, Ala., will, under the direction of Bvt. Lieut. Col. Edwin Beecher, disbursing Officers for said state, purchase in open market upon
