Colonel,
I have the honor respectfully to recommend that an order be issued upon the Sub-Assitant Commissioner, Bur R.F. & A.L. at the Station, to take down a certain building, which is borne upon the Land Report of the Office located and described as follows, "Selma, Dallas Co., Ala,. On what was Government Lot near track of Selma and Meridian Rail Road, and Alabama Street" "House repaired and changed into School House. Two rooms." The material thus obtained to be appropriated towards the construction of the School House, now being erected by this Bureau, in Selma, Ala., on land of the American Missionary Association.

This building is now vacant, and a rent of Five 5. Dollars per month is being paid for the land on which it is located.
