If it is intended that I should construe my removal as  an apprehension of censure on your part, based upon the information received, I surely ought to be allowed a hearing upon that information. If no censure is intended, your action has, from the peculiar accompanying circumstances, the misfortune of carrying with it the utmost outward humiliation and hardship. Justice both to your self and me demands that the unintended wrong should be corrected.
