I have The honor to enclose to you a letter from Hon John Appleby. Judge of Probate for this county in reffrence to the murder of one Isaiah Richards (Colored)by Charles Richards (White) at the town of La Fayette Chambers, Co, Ala on the 17 inst
Judge Richards the father of Charles is the proprietor of the "Chambers Tribune" a most bitter and unloyal Paper. I am satisfied that the civil Authorities will take no notice of this case and to let it pass unnoticed vice by Largely detrimental to the public welfare of this Section, The enclosed report is apparently in the intrests of the accused.
