As a large proportion of Government Bacon, I now have on hand, is greatly damaged, and almost, if not entirely worthless, I have the honor to request, that before selling the same, you cause an Inspecting officer to examine it, for the purpose of condeming or determining upon the value of the bacon, in its present condition.
