I am directed by the Commissioner to inform you that, a communication from the Gen'l H. M. Whittelsey Chief Quartermaster, Bureau R F. and A.L. forwarding letter, of J. W. Stillwell, Agent Rome and Georgia Railroad making inquiries about an account for transportation of corn for Captain W.H.H. Peck amounting to $100.50, stating that this account was referred to Assistant Commissioner of Alabama June 29, 1869 for report and no report had yet been received,
