| Sam McCoy (c) v.s. Harris Terry (w) | Sam McCoy (c) complained that he worked for Mr Harris Terry (w) this year & that he has not paid him him in for said labor | Sent a note to Mr Harris Terry to call on soon as convenient and explain why he does not pay Sam. Mr. Terry appeared & agreed to pay Sam by the 22nd |

| JW Chavis (c.) v.s. Duncan Jones (w) Settled | June 17th 1867. J. Wesley Chavis complained that he made a written contract with Mr Duncan Jones for to make a crop on Mr Jones land this year (1867) that said Jones has deprived him of the stock which he had previously furnished him to make the crop with and also that said Jones wished him to steal some chickens & carry them off the Plantation. In Chavis mind he (Jones) was trying to get some hold on him for the purposed of driving him away & thus secure the work he had done free of payment. | Referred the case to a Magistrate for investigation & report by letter, informing him that he had full power to act in the case Magistrate reported that the stock was given back to Chavis & a new contract made & case settled satisfactorily to both parties |

| Amanda Leach (c) v.s. LW McLarrien | Amanda Leach (c) complained that while working on the path to field Mr. L.W. McLarrien (w) stuck her with a rail twice on the head & once on the back injuring her to some extent. | Referred the cases to a Magistrate by name Peter McRae for his adjudication. |

| Wm Wall v.s. James Brasenton  
To be tried at Sept Term of Superior Court. Rept July 25 Sept Term of Superior Court Judge Warren presiding Jms Brasenton fined $10. Rept Sept 25th 67.
| June 22th 1867. William Wall (c) complained that James Brasenton on this day struck him with a knife & cut him very badly, on the arm and hand & threatened his wife. | Referred the case to J.W. Leak Justice of the Peace, for his action, & requested that after the necessary action be taken, that Brasenton be put under bonds to keep the peace. Brasenton was put under bonds to keep the peace in the sum of two-hundred dollars & bound over to the next term of the County Court |
