Kulanapan family.  Live in Mendocino County, and Lake County, California, and the Wappo Branch in Sonoma County. 

Materials used are;
Foundation - white leaf willow (salix 
argyrophylea)                          
Sewed with "Kahum" California sedge (carex barbarae).                          Red design material is red bud (circes
occidentalis).
Black is root of California sedge (carex)

Lake County.
Principal locations of basket weavers;  Cache Creek, lower end of Clear Lake; Lower Lake, Kelseyville; Lake Port, Upper Lake. 

The Wappo branch at Middletown. They
also lived in Sonoma County in Alexander Valley. 

Mendocino County.
Principal location of basket weavers; Potter Valley, Pinoliville (three miles north of Ukiah); A Rancho six miles south of Ukiah; Hopland Point Arena, and a coast tribe at Noyo. on the Noyo River; in Round Valley Reservation.
