Dec. 5 66
Rev. J.W. Alvord, Inspector of Schools

Sir:
I have the honor to forward herewith my report of schools for October 1866. The lateness of this report is due solely to the impossibility of obtaining in proper time the reports of District Sups. That from the 1st District only arrived yesterday. I hope to be in time hereafter. The presence of cholera in several parts of the state, in Oct. hindered the organization of schools until Nov.
