Dear Sir:
Corporate powers for Institution of learning are derived directly from the courts, as well as from the legislature. So there is no necessity of delay. The steps to be taken are, I suppose, first to have the trustees designated, and the property deeded to them, for the purpose of the trust, and then apply to the court for incorporation, which doubtless will be promptly granted. It is said that most of the trustees should be resident, and I venture to suggest that some of them should be colored. I could name colored men every way well qualified to act in that capacity.

Very Respy
