Gen O. Brown
Asst. Govn'r

General:
I have the honor to inform you that a wealthy Northern lady has pledged her-self to send out and support a teacher for the freedman at Clover Station on the Saurville R.R. as soon as a school house can be provided. I would respectfully request the proper office be instructed to make immediate investigation and report whether a room can be rented for a school there and if not then otherwise a school house can be most steadily and economically provided.

I am most Respectfully

Transcription Notes:
The dashed line represents after R.M Mauly is indecipherable and the obt. sevt is questionable.
