February 24 9
Rev B. Sean D.D.

Dear Sir:
In my report to you Jan. 15th I stated that I had disbursed in excess of your first remittance. $109 89/100 of my own funds and that those were a few December bills the unpaid. The latter have amounted to $64. The January bills (not yet quite all paid) I have amounted to $506. Deducting these three amounts from the second remittance, shows that I have not sufficient funds in hand to complete the payments for February, which will very soon be due. Please, therefore, send me another $1000 and I shall not need to call again for two months.

I have taken up too many schools, a few, however will become self supporting after this month. I shall drop a few of the less worthy, and reduce the allowance to many others, so as to bring my payments before $500 per month, and continue the schools until July.

Very Resfly. your obt. serv
