Miss M.E. Shearman

Dear Friend

Thos. J. Davis writes me that he has closed his connection with your Society, and he seeks employment. If he is competent and worthy to teach a good school, and in spare time, to give some supervision of other colored teachers and arrange for the planting of new schools, I should like to have him employed at West Point and vicinity, in connection with another Society - the N.Y. Branch F.U. Com.

Please say what you think - his strong and weak points
